Most of Sydney is on one of two electricity networks. Ausgrid covers the CBD, the eastern suburbs, the inner west, the North Shore and the Northern Beaches, and Endeavour Energy covers Western Sydney, the Hills District and the south-west. Your network sets how much solar you can export and approves the connection. We apply to it for you before installation.
Since 1 July 2026, NSW retailers have had to offer a Solar Sharer plan with at least three hours of free power in the middle of the day. Solar still covers the rest of the day and a battery covers the evening, so we look at your bills and tell you honestly what makes sense for your home.
Panels near the coast collect salt spray, and homes near busy roads or trees collect grime, both of which cut output. Pigeons nesting under panels are another common problem. We clean panels and fit bird mesh to new and existing systems.
Both federal discounts come off your quote upfront, and we lodge the paperwork for you. Estimates only: your exact discount is shown on your quote.
An upfront discount on solar, based on your system size and postcode. For example, about $1,710 off a 6.6 kW system in Sydney installed in 2026. It gets smaller every year until 2030.
About 30% off an eligible battery installed with new or existing solar. The discount steps down every six months.
An extra upfront payment when you connect your battery to an approved virtual power plant. The amount depends on your battery and the VPP provider.
